Objective: To change images resolution for the printing press and understand the difference of the filesize between printed image and web-image.

Answer

You can do this in many ways. The simpliest way is to modify image with Crop-tool which has following settings: Width 15 cm, Height 10 cm and Resolution 300 ppi. Save the image into tiff-form. Unpacked tiff-image is 6,00 Mb and packed jpeg-image for the web is 32,0 Kb.
